Chris Tyler is a Director of Pritchard Francis. He’s experienced in all areas of structural engineering with a focus on providing specifically tailored structural design solutions to minimise project costs. His strong technical ability, client focus and ability to meet deadlines has seen him be involved in over $1b of commercial and government developments, including those with a sustainability-focus.
He was the first structural engineer in Western Australia to complete the requirements to become a Green Star Accredited Professional in April 2006 and remains current with green building practices, regularly attending events run by the GBCA as well as presenting training course for sustainability in the disciplines of civil and structural engineering. Chris has also been recognised in 2011 by Engineers Australia WA as Young Professional of the Year and in 2014 by Consult Australia with the Gold Award for Future Leader.
Chris’ design experience encompasses all areas of structural engineering with responsibility for design, project coordination, contract administration and site inspections. He is responsible for overseeing the majority of large scale commercial projects within the firm.
