Albany Roads
Realignment and construction was undertaken of a new road network to service both the Albany Senior high School and the new Albany Primary School. Works involved new vehicle roundabouts, pedestrian crossings, bus bays, drop off bays and associated dual use pathways. Being “infill” roadworks it presented challenges in dealing with existing services, drainage and joining ground levels. Works were required to be undertaken during school holidays to minimise the impact on school traffic.
