Building E, The Garden Office Park ($7.8m)
This two storey office building has a covered floor area of 3000m2. A well articulated column layout eliminated the need for a costly transfer slab while maintaining the large cantilevers inherent in the architectural design. The beam arrangement was selected so as to minimise conflict with services including air conditioning ducts and thereby minimising floor heights.
