ECU Site Establishment, Mt Lawley
A project comprising the demolition of two existing buildings and associated carpark plus excavation and disposal of approximately 12,000m3 of material deposited during the site's early use as a sanitary landfill facility during the 1920's and 1930's.
Excavation and disposal works were undertaken within strict environmental control guidelines and procedures. The works were undertaken as part of the site establishment works for a major expansion of the on site student housing facilities.
