Leederville Hotel, The Garden
The Leederville Hotel has undergone a major upgrade. The redevelopment encompassed all areas of the existing facility. The existing 100 year old building has been further opened up with the removal of loadbearing walls. The existing external beer garden was all but demolished and replaced with a contemporary deisgn blending new and old.
Brittle masonry, corroded steel and protection of an existing tree presented specific challenges. Civil works converted an existing flood prone carpark into a new function area.
