Montessori School, Kingsley ($3.1m)
Nestled within existing bushland, single storey primary and secondary school blocks with undercroft were constructed. To facilitate the schools environmental aspirations, the construction brief called for as natural a look as possible. Main retaining walls, columns and blade walls utilised reinforced rammed earth, whilst the roof structure was predominately exposed timber trusses.
