Myaree Showrooms - Stage 1 & 2 ($16m)

Pritchard Francis undertook both stages of this new development.

Myaree Showrooms - Stage 1 ($9m)

These two showroom buildings have a 10,000m2 total gross floor area.  One building sits 6 metres above the adjacent boundary.  A reinforced earth retaining wall system constructed from precast concrete panels was successfully utilised as an economical solution.

Myaree Showrooms - Stage 2 ($7m)

Stage 2 of this development included 6,000m2 of showroom area and a 2,500m2 suspended Fitness First tenancy.  A post-tensioned concrete floor system was utilised for suspended areas to allow large spans between columns, up to 11m, in the showrooms below.

To confirm the building performance, Prtichard Francis created a finite element model to review the frequency response of the long span structure due to the active loading patterns of a gymnasium tenancy.
