This five storey residential development features 40 living units, basement carpark and communal facilities. A close working relationship with the developer/builder during the design and construction of this project, lead to the structural design solution being developed with consideration of structural efficiency, expense and ease of construction. Some notable examples include: the use of steel screw piles as permanent tension piles enabling dewatering to be stopped early and resulting in a thinner raft construction, the use of prefinished, permanent formwork system for the insitu concrete walls and the selection of prefabricated timber roof framing.
