Comprising 3,160m2 of bulk sample and warehouse areas, a 2,350m2 laboratory and a 1,235m2 administration building, the new SGS facility at Perth Airport consolidates SGS Australia's Perth operations into one large facility.
The buildings are a mix of concrete tilt panel walls and structural steelwork frames clad with a variety of cladding systems.
Careful consideration to the corrosion protection of the buildings was imperative, as a result of corrosive environments caused by the materials testing and analyses processes.
