Wanneroo Central Shopping Centre ($30m)
This shopping centre comprises of over 17,000m2 of retail area including Coles, Kmart and IGA major tenancies. With limited site area, the majority of the shopping centre is built over a 10,000m2 basement car park. This provided challenges under the heavily serviced Coles tenancy.
To allow the existing shopping centre to remain fully operational during the works, construction was staged. This staging allowed existing tenants to decant into the partly complete new centre, followed by demolition of the old complex, and completion of the works.
