West Angelas Supplementary Ore Feed
As part of an expansion of the Rio Tinto’s West Angelas iron ore mine, Pritchard Francis provided structural designs including the FEL Hopper Building and Gravity Take-up structure. The FEL Hopper was designed for dumping loads from a 78 tonne loader, as well as dynamic loads from feeders below, requiring an in depth and sophisticated analysis.
