This scholarship represents a unique opportunity for interaction between private industry and The University of Western Australia.
The aim of the award is to recognize and acknowledge an individual student's outstanding academic achievements, provide financial support,
and offer an opportunity to a rewarding and fulfilling career in the consulting field of civil engineering. The scholarship is valued at
$5,000 along with the offer of paid Vacation Employment.

The scholarship is awarded under the following conditions:

In addition to the scholarship proper, the scholar is offered paid vacation employment with Pritchard Francis for a period of 12 weeks,

Part of this vacation employment offers the opportunity of working in an associate office in the Eastern States.
This would be undertaken in December 2008, prior to Christmas. |

Whilst one of the aims of the scholarship is to provide an employment opportunity to the successful applicant,
there is no binding or other commitment from either party with regard to employment with Pritchard Francis after graduation.
