Project Administrator
We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Project Administrator to join our busy engineering consultancy, based in Subiaco and/or Perth CBD. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a project support administrator in project administration within an engineering or construction company.
About the Role
This is a newly created position to join our project team delivering the METRONET Byford Rail Extension project and provides general administration and project support to our technical team and has a variety of duties, including:
- Providing administration support to project and leadership teams including:
- Preparation of correspondence such as letters, minutes and reports.
- Document control, preparation, filing and archiving.
- Preparation of reports, project financial summaries and month end reporting
- Preparation and coordination of technical documentation.
- Preparation and coordination of technical specifications.
- Diary and travel management and coordination for the team
- General administration and support to the technical team.
About You
This role requires a confident, well-presented person with a strong work ethic who will have excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
Key skills and experience required for this role include:
- Experience in a previous Project Support position or similar
- Administration experience working on large infrastructure projects for PTA/ main road or similar will be highly regarded.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including:
- Word (Styles and template creation);
- Excel (Charts and formulas);
- PowerPoint;
- Outlook
- Experience in Project Information /Document Management Systems (e.g. Team Binder, Acconex) would be considered advantageous;
- Demonstrate a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail, including proof-reading capabilities.
