Pritchard Francis was engaged by SNC-Lavalin to undertake the civil consulting services for the expansion of the facility at Paroo Station, Western Australia.
The scope of works comprised of bulk earthworks, access roads, drainage swales, drainage basins, civil modelling and coordination with the processing infrastructure, generation of DFS drawings, commodity material take off’s, associated calculations and basis of design reporting.
The site comprised of a hard rock layer close to the design surface, and therefore several iterations of the design were completed to ensure that the structural footings and tanks were located above the in-situ rock to mitigate blasting.
