The additions and alterations at the Mirrabooka Police Station were completed by Pritchard Francis as part of overall updates for the West Metropolitan Police Stations (including Morley, Scarborough and Warwick).

The project included a refurbishment of the existing facilities, along with a major 700m2 extension being constructed over the existing car park. Pritchard Francis was able to incorporate the various security requirements of the brief into the design and achieve large suspended slab spans to suit the car park layout below. The over 5m double cantilevers were achieved with a flat soffit to provide ease of construction and complement the bold architectural design. Lightweight framing for walls and roofing maximised off site fabrication and allows for future flexibility.
