A dedicated and ambitious structural engineer with experience in Perth and Sydney, she has recently been recognized by the Property Council of Australia’s WA Chapter as 2016 Future Leader in the Design category. Her passion for innovative, efficient and sustainable design ensures that value engineering, minimal environmental impact and creative design to achieve architectural intent are strong considerations in every project.

Her expertise in the use of different construction materials including design of reinforced, pre-cast and post tensioned concrete, steelwork, light gauge steelwork, and masonry construction, results in superior solutions for residential, multi-storey, commercial and education projects she undertakes.

As a well-rounded community and industry contributor, Miriam is a chartered member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, an active member of the Green Building Council of Australia and a mentor to young female engineers, as well as being an active member of the North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club, as a Patrol Captain Bronze Medallion trainer, with Silver Medallions in Basic Beach Management and Inflatable Rescue Boat License.
