- The site requires extension of all major services to provide reticulation. This includes a new WWPS (Waste Water Pumping Station) for the South Baldivis area to serve the greater catchment. Pritchard Francis has been working with adjoining land owners and the Water Corporation to resolve the position and scope of the WWPS works.
- Another critical consideration of the site is the trunk main infrastructure easement that crosses the site in the North West corner. This includes a 1200mm diameter Water Corporation trunk main and Parmelia High Pressure Gas Pipeline. Appropriate construction techniques have been discussed with civil contractors to minimise disturbance and risk to the works.
Pritchard Francis has completed bulk earthworks of this 44ha site that was previously an old sand mine. There are over 700 lots planned for the development as well as a waste water pumping station that will be built on site to serve the greater catchment area. Multiple stages are being constructed in addition to the design of future stages.
The land has been previously mined as a sand quarry and as such a key component of the works is to efficiently design earthworks to a balanced cut to fill whilst setting levels to maximise outlook over Perth’s Darling Scarp.
Pritchard Francis has also been commissioned to complete forward works for the South Baldivis Secondary School.
