The Indian Ocean Suites development is a landmark multi residential development for the Port Hedland region. With seven multi storey apartments up to five storeys high, the development required an in depth analysis for stability under cyclonic and earthquake conditions. 

The site includes a 4,000sqm basement car park, which required innovative solutions to control stormwater drainage and flood analysis to provide protection in case of storm events. 

The regional location meant that a number of precast and prefabricated elements were used to minimise cost and maximise construction speed.
