The Stage 3 Science Block at Santa Maria College is another of several buildings Pritchard Francis has designed at the college. The campus rests on a large, sloping site located close to the banks of Swan River in Attadale.

Pritchard Francis provided structural engineering, detailed design, documentation and site administration of this three storey science block, including basement.

To allow for large open classrooms and a bus parking bay undercroft, the building was constructed with concrete slabs spanning between widely spaced concrete columns. The external building face consisted of masonry veneer, with a traditional steel framed roof.
