Value Engineering Solution
- Maximised off site fabrication through precast panels, permanent formwork for all insitu walls and precast biscuits for suspended slabs
- Variable height limestone with soft sand layers posed foundation challenges. By undertaking additional geotechnical testing and light weight floors the design solution could utilise pad footings without the need for piles.

Prime House is an eight storey office development located on the corner of Davidson Terrace and Shenton Avenue in Joondalup.
Primewest Management engaged Pritchard Francis to provide structural engineering consultancy services for the project.
The scope involved structural design, documentation and site administration. Intensive use of prefabricated structural elements helped in achieving a tight timeframes.
Flat slab soffits through all suspended slabs allowed for reduced floor to floor heights and allowed for simple service reticulation.
