This district shopping centre (Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4) located in Perth’s northern suburbs, included all civil and structural works. Thorough geotechnical investigation, including research into site history, resulted in an accurate specification of the bulk earthworks. This ensured the project progressed without time delays and cost overruns due to unforseen ground conditions.
Significant issues addressed during the project included a 6,000m² K-Mart constructed over a basement carpark, staging of progressive handovers, the interface of new and existing, and the retrofitting of escalators. The completed centre comprises Coles, Woolworths and K-Mart tenancies along with 70 specialty shops.
